Graphic Design Requests

We’ve put together this helpful guide for submitting graphic design requests. These guidelines are put in place to process your request as efficiently as possible. In this guide, we will go over turn around times, approval flows, and important information to include on your requests.

Please be aware that our turn around time for most graphic design requests typically ranges from 3 to 5 business days, depending on the complication of the request. These timelines reflect design time only, and do not reflect additional development time. We always do our best to accommodate all submissions that we receive within the requested timeline.

More complex projects such as multi-tiered branding projects or new website builds are given a timeline on an individual basis. Once you put in your request, a team member will take a look and provide a timeline of when you can expect your project to be ready for review.

Busy seasons, such as Black Friday, may result in extended turn around times. If you are signed up for our ongoing design service, we’ll always reach out to you in advance of major holidays, to let you know if we have extended turn around times.

SENDING CONTENT

There are 2 ways to send content when submitting a design request to the help desk.  Attach your content directly to your submission OR share a folder of assets with us (google drive, dropbox, etc.)

If you do not have an internal file storage system that you can share, we can set up a google drive folder for you to upload email content directly to.

GRAPHIC COPY
All copy for any design projects must be submitted to us. Submissions such as banner requests or social media assets should include any text that you would like featured on the graphic, so that we can actively work on the request. For projects such as page layouts, we are able to use filler copy in the interim to design the page for you to review.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY
We ask that most graphic requests are submitted with photography or video assets. For example, if you would like us to create a banner featuring your product, include product images within your request. If you have a photo library or specific images that you would like us to have access to, please send that over to us in your request.

It is best practice to send images at the highest resolution available. High resolution images are sized at 300ppi. Photography that is pixelated at a low resolution, may not be able to be used to create graphical assets. If you have any questions about best practices with sending images, please reach out to us.

All images that are submitted to us for use are assumed to have the proper licensing / permissions to use such images. Beyond the Brand Media, LLC does not assume liability for images that are submitted without proper licensing.

LOGOS
If you would like a logo featured within the design of your request, we ask that all logos are provided to us. We currently do not offer logo design services.

BRAND GUIDELINES
Are there any specific or newly updated brand guidelines that we should be following when we create your designs? Please include your branding guide or let us know.

SENDING TO OUR HELP DESK

We ask that all email campaign and automation requests are submitted through our help desk ticketing system. This process is in place so that each team member has access to your request.

Shortly after submitting your request, a team member will follow up to let you know that your request has been received.

How it works

Process & Approval Flow

Here’s a brief overview of our ticket submission process and approval flow for graphic design requests. Use this chart as a guide to see what step you are in and what’s next!

Request Submission

You send in your design request to our help desk.

Request Verification

We respond to the ticket and let you know the request has been received.

Creating Your Design

This is where we work our magic! We’ll carefully review your request while creating your design.

Design Review

Once your design has been created, we will respond to your ticket with a proof or mockup prototype for review.

Request Changes

If you have any design changes, respond to the ticket and let us know. We’ll work through making those changes and follow up with an updated proof for you to review.

Design Approval

Once you give us the green light on your design, we will send it over the development team to implement on your website. If your request does not include website updates, we’ll send over any finalized assets you’ll need.

Design Implementation

The development team will make any requested design updates to either your live site or a test environment (depending on the request) and will let you know when the work has been completed!
